Iceland Research Trip & Reykjavík Museums

Founding partners, Rachel and Anil, recently visited Iceland and had a chance visit and assess several museum for future collaborations.

Combining a working trip with a chance to visit and assess several museum in Reykjavik, Friday Sundae had the pleasure to discover this beautiful country with an eye on future projects.

Areas of interest include providing virtual reality and augmented reality experiences to augment the visitor experience to Iceland's numerous award winning museums and exhibitions.

When we first visited Iceland in 2016, the country received around 1.2 million visitors, in 2019 this had increased to 2.3 million. Drawn by the natural beauty and rugged landscape, Iceland continues to attract visitors from across the world, as its environment continues to visibly alter due to effects of climate change.

Friday Sundae can't stop climate change alone (though we do our part), but we can help inform Iceland's many visitors of its effects on this unique country and the rest of the world. Watch this space for project announcements in 2021 and beyond.
